Hockey Equipment Manufacturer Offers Buy Skates, Get Synthesis Special
Easton Sports, the leader in manufacturing technologically advanced sporting equipment, announced today its 2003 Skate Promotion with a Free Synthesis Shaft & Blade offer. Customers who purchases a pair of Easton Z-Air Comp SE, Z-Air Comp, Z-Air, Air, Air SBX, and Jr. Z-Air skates at regular price will be given a free Synthesis composite shaft and blade, in return. This campaign give Easton an opportunity to launch the Synthesis product at retail, according to Ned Goldsmith, Eastons vice president of hockey.
Weve had success with this promotion the past two years, said Goldsmith. Our retailers have seen the benefits of offering this promotion and we wanted to continue to capitalize on our positive reputation in the hockey market. By using this to help launch the Synthesis, well seed our two piece composite stick in more peoples hands.
The skates must be purchased between June 1 June 30, 2003 to receive the free Synthesis blade and shaft. NHL, Minor Pro, College, USHL, CHL and team skates are excluded from the offer. The promotional offer is good in authorized retail stores throughout U.S. and Canada. To get the free Synthesis stick, the purchaser must mail in the official redemption coupon along with the original sales receipt and UPC code from the skate box.
Easton skates and sticks have scored with NHL stars and recreational players. The Z-Air line of skates has generated excitement because of its special Uni-body construction (shaped like a unit rather than separate parts), the patented Parabolic Razor BladzII and Dry Flow (the first-ever drainage system in skates). These and other cutting-edge technologies have combined to create the most comfortable, performance skates on the market, according to Goldsmith. NHL superstars such as Steve Yzerman , Jeremy Roenick, Owen Nolan, and Henrick Zetterberg would tend to agree with Goldsmith, after all Easton is their skate of choice.
The Synthesis is Eastons Synergy of the two-piece world. The Synthesis consists of the same shaft and blade as a one-piece composite Synergy stick, just in a separate composite shaft and composite blade attachment system. The Synthesis comes in four different shafts with corresponding blades: Synthesis Grip (110 and 100 flex) and Synthesis (100 and 85 flex) with Synthesis blade (Yzerman, Sakic, Modano, Lidstrom, Shanahan, Drury and Iginla patterns), Synthesis Intermediate (75 flex) with Synthesis Intermediate blade ( Sakic, Modano, and Drury patterns) and Synthesis Jr. (50 flex) with Synthesis Jr. blade (Yzerman Jr. and Modano Jr. patterns).
