National Hockey League-Meigray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program to Auction 2003-2004 Vintage Jerseys

The National Hockey League honors its past during the 2003-04 regular season when it introduces its Vintage Hockey program. Six NHL teams, the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues and Vancouver Canucks, will be wearing vintage jerseys in selected games.

These sets of home and road jerseys from each of the six teams will be available via auction next season. Watch NHLGAMEWORN.COM for the auction link.

As part of the Vintage Hockey program, the Canadiens will reach back for a white jersey modeled after the one they wore in 1945-46, and a red jersey matching the style they wore in 1958-59. The Canadiens will be wearing throwback jerseys for selected games against Original Six opponents. Boston (1967-68 version), Los Angeles (1980-81), NY Rangers (1976-77), St. Louis (1979-80) and Vancouver (1972-73) will wear their Vintage jerseys in home-and-home contests against the other clubs in the Vintage Hockey program.
