PRO Ambitions To Be Featured On ESPN

Pro Ambitions Hockey Camps have been selected to be featured on the innovative and education television series, Competitive Edge, to appear on ESPN, ESPN2 and TSN (canada), for an audience of over 70 million viewers.

There is nothing like the thrill of the ice. While some young hockey fans sit at home as television spectators, others are lacing up their skates and preparing to take their love of the game to the next level. Competitive Edge recognizes Pro Ambitions for helping young players develop their confidence, skills and that perfect slap shot.

After breaking the all-time American Hockey League (AHL) record for leading scoring by a defenseman and winning the Eddie Shore Award for Best AHL Defenseman, Pro Ambitions founder, Jeff Serowik was at the top of his game.

However, after an amazing ten year pro career, an injury ended his rein in 1999. But after 25 years on the ice, the sport was in his blood. Today he continues to keep that thrill alive as a teacher and mentor.

Eleven years ago, Jeff set out to reach kids - the potential, FUTURE NHL players - and help them achieve the dream he had lived. The first Pro Ambitions summer camp has expanded to 75 camps each year nationally and internationally and offers young hockey players the opportunity of a lifetime.

Students will get advice from the best on how to be the best. Pro and College Division 1 players and coaches will go beyond the basics and show campers how to have the edge they need to succeed. With a student/teacher ratio at 3:1 or 4:1, campers are able to get the professional, personalized attention they need to hone their skills and find their niche.

From skating, shooting and checking to team building and mental focus, each player will come away with solid skills and strategies that will improve their play forever.
