NHL's Calgary Flames Launch New Online Video Vault

The National Hockey League's Calgary Flames have launched a new video section of their website, featuring current and past game highlights, player profiles and newly added video features.

The new interactive Video Vault is filled with over 150 videos including current and past game highlights, the best goals, hits, fights, big saves, team highlights, player profiles and presentations from team management.

The Video Vault is a first for a professional sports club anywhere. It also replaces the Calgary Flames Network, launched last summer.

The Flames engaged Calgary-based Jet Stream Digital Media Inc., one of Canada's largest web casting firms, to build out and distribute the portal to hockey fans around the globe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Jet Stream will also provide the Flames with the network infrastructure to deliver the content using the nations most robust streaming media network.

Calgary Flames staff simply log on to a private website where they can add videos to the Vault and access viewer stats and the member database.

The Flames original video on-demand streaming coverage of the team will add new major dimensions and personalized viewing to this great sport. And, hockey fans worldwide will be able to easily share the experience of Calgary Flames hockey anywhere, at anytime.
