Tickets For Division I Men's Ice Hockey Regionals To Go On Sale

The NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Committee announced dates and times for the start of ticket sales for the 2004 regionals. All regional tickets are being sold as a three-game package from the first sale date at each site. It is anticipated that the regional sites will be sold out, but if any of the four sites are not sold out by March 22, tickets will be available for individual sessions at an increased ticket price.

As a bonus, any person buying tickets on the first day regional tickets go on sale will have the opportunity to win two tickets to the 2004 Men's Frozen Four in Boston. Each region will award a pair of tickets to a person who is randomly selected from people who purchased tickets through the Internet, in-person or by phone.

Tickets for the East regional at the Pepsi Arena in Albany, New York (hosted by the Eastern College Athletic Conference and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) will go on sale at noon Eastern time October 11. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting the Pepsi Arena box office or by calling 518/476-1000.

Northeast regional tickets for the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire (hosted by the University of New Hampshire) will go on sale October 3. Tickets can be purchased by calling 603/868-7300, or by stopping by the Verizon Wireless Arena box office or the Whittemore Center Arena box office on the University of New Hampshire campus.

The Midwest regional at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan (hosted by Western Michigan University) will have tickets on sale starting at noon Eastern time, October 3. First-round games are March 27, while the regional final is March 28. Tickets for the three-game package are $60, and can be obtained by calling 616/456-3333 or by stopping by the Van Andel Arena box office.

Tickets for the West regional at the World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado (hosted by Colorado College) will go on sale starting October 3. The first-round contests are March 26, while the regional final is March 27.

If any of the host institutions are selected to participate in the 2004 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship, they will be assigned to their host site.
